So i dont know who still reads this but im bored so i guess i'll update this thing. Well a lot has been happening since my last entry. Well in august i moved out to my friend peters house in pasadena and i started a new job in hollywood. i also live with anh (my boss) and susan (co-worker). My mom was kinda opposed to it but the 3 hours of traffic everyday sucked balls and i got really sick of it plus i've never moved out before so i thought it would be pretty cool. So far i have to admit its been pretty fun. We used to drink a lot but not lately. I thought i would have gained a lot of weight too but i started going to the gym more and jogging around the street. I've actually lost like 13 pounds or so since moving in. Pretty crazy i know. Works going pretty well too, everyones pretty cool cause everyones young. Lets see what else has been happening. I guess thats pretty much hah. I thought their would be more to write about but i guess not. Well i guess i have done a lot more thinking since i've moved out, more then usual at least. I have a balcony and i sit on this lounge chair and just sit there and ponder things a lot, nothing in particular, usually just whatever pops into my head unless its something that just happened i guess. I'll just end this with a bunch of random pics. Enjoy !

wow i havent written in this thing in a long ass time. i guess a lot hasnt really happened since then but i'll keep you updated to what im up too now. so i quit both my old jobs and got a new job at Legalzoom in hollywood working with anh and susan. i totally got hooked up and that place is super chill. i can wear shorts and flip flops to work and listen to my ipod. i have to admit im pretty happy thus far but im not thrilled about the commute. its just over an hour getting there and a solid hour and a half coming home, im so sleepy coming home im actually slapping myself to keep awake. im probably gonna move in to peters too cause i can carpool with anh and susan and just experience living out for once in my life. things are definitely changing for me which isnt a bad thing at all. till next time tah tah.

so i havent writtten anything in a long time. whats been going on. well lets see. i'll start out with a pretty funny poker story about a guy winning a $1000 pot. ok so preflop seat 1 raises to 20 dollars, seat 3,6 and 7 all call. (im in seat 5 and i have a shitty hand so i throw it away) so already in the pot is about 80-90 dollars. the flop comes 8-6-3 offsuit. seat 1 bets out $55 dollars and seat 3 and 6 both call. seat 7 thinks for a lil bit and reraises to $155 which means everyone else has to call another $100. seat 1,3 and 6 all call. now theres about $700 or so in the pot. the turn comes a King. so now theres a possible flush draw. seat 1 checks and seat 3 goes all-in for about $120 or so. seat 6 thinks about it and calls but he has a lil bit less maybe $90-$100. Now seat 7 calls time and he says i have to think about this one. hes mumbling stuff to himself and says "man i have a great hand too i shoulda raised more on the flop" then he shows a few of us on our side pocket Queens and folds. seat 1 then folds and its just heads up. the river comes a 2 and the dealer says ok show em. seat 6 goes "i missed" and shows a 5-7 ( he had an opened ended straight draw meaning he needed a 4 or 9 to win) and then seat 3 says "i missed too" and shows a 9-7 ( he had a higher open ended straight draw, he needed a 5 or 10 to win) but he wins the pot with a 9 high !!!!! he won almost a $1000 pot with a 9 high !! everyone at my table was laughing and saying omg what just happened here. people from other tables came to see what all the commotion was about and when we told them they just laughed and went no wayyy. even the dealer couldnt believe what just happened. one of the craziest hands i've ever seen.

we went clubbing on friday to vanguard. we orginally werent gonnna get a table but we found out last minute that linhs friends were gonna come so we thought a table wouldnt be too bad cause we had more ppl pitching in. but of course, last minute they flaked and i had already reserved it so it was up to me, linh and richard to fit the bill. about a $100 each. i didnt really care cause i usually spend at least a $100 there anyways but this way at least we could sit down whenever we wanted too. oh and thanks to sue and anne for pitching in $20 each. much appreciated. so we killed the bottle pretty fast and i told them if we got another bottle i would totally pay for it (money is no object when your out having fun with friends and drinking, at least to me) but they talked me out of it and we just ordered drinks instead from our waitress and i paid for that which is still cool. for some reason i always get juiced at that club. bastards, how do they sleep at nite. i did see a lot of random ass people there though but thats always cool to catch up and stuff. we ended the nite with some western pho. its our favorite after club/drinking place to eat.

on a sad note. my grandfathers in the hospital. hes been there for almost a week now. he has all these meds and hes on life support. its a really sad thing to see. i'll give you a brief history. hes had 2 strokes and hasnt been in the best health most of my life. the last 5-6 years hes been bed ridden and is taken care of by my two aunts. he cant do anything for himself and lately lots of family members have been flying out to pay their last respects to him. i've pretty much made my peace with him passing, theres really nothing anyone can do for him now except try to make him as comfortable as possible until he dies. my mom and i were talking about his situation and she asked me what i thought of everything. at first i didnt want to give her my opinion because it seems kind of harsh but i've always been able to talk to my mom about a lot of things so i did. i said that i think they should just pull the plug and let him go. hes totally suffering everyday and theres really no way that hes gonna recover. he even had a heart attack last week at my uncles house and no one knew. of course being the grandson, that option isnt my decision. my grandfather is really well respected and my family is super tight. especially my mom aunts and uncles. but just standing there in the hospital makes me super sad. i had to leave the room cause i just couldnt bare it anymore. my grandma is being like super awesome during this time too. she refuses to leave the hospital. we have to literally drag her home so she can get some rest. shes an awesome lady.

i guess thats pretty much it. i didnt mean for the last part to be such a downer. take care everyone !!

pretty fun weekend. went to dinner for jeff's bday at Taps on friday and it was pretty chill. ended up leaving up with Yuji to go drink at some fob place in diamond plaza. i got drunk and only spent $10 bucks. Yesterday was really fun. our friend Sue got married in pasadena and me and richard were invited to the dinner reception. they also had an open bar. free food, free alcohol and the chance to dance with some cute girls? it was must go situation for me and Richard, here are some pics.
